I am happy to announce that Fall registration is now open for Yoga Classes at the Wilmot Contre.  I will once again be teaching 2 classes.  Monday mornings is the assisted yoga classes for seniors and Wednesday morning will be yoga for everybody.

Senior Gentle Yoga

Time: Monday’s 9:30 – 10:30 am

Dates: 26 September – 5 December 2016 (no classes Thanksgiving Monday)

“Gentle Yoga offers a safe low-impact workout that can enhance flexibility, mobility, bone density and strength. Standing poses are mingled with seated postures (chair, no ground work) to enhance bodily function. All exercises can be modified to remain on a chair for those with mobility problems. Each class is unique and can be tailored to the needs of its participants!”

Yoga for Every-Body

Time: Wednesday’s 9:30 – 10:30 am

Dates: 28 September – 30 November 2016

“Everybody’s Yoga is Hatha style yoga designed to be more independent than the Gentle Yoga program. Participants will use both standing and floor positions to stretch muscles and relax their bodies. Somatics are incorporated into each and every class, which allows participants to benefit from moving postures in a healing way. All ages and abilities are welcome.”
